Članovi organizacije boraca NOR-a 1941-1945 Kotor danas su u parku Slobode položili cvijeće na spomenik, povodom Dana pobjede nad fašizmom.

“Maj je bio i ostao dan radosti naroda, dan buđenja prirode, ali i dan radničke klase i dan radosti pobjede nad fašizmom i drugih pobjeda koje su ostvarivali narodi u borbama za slobodu i rad. Ove godine narod Evrope i svijeta obilježava 73 godine pobjede nad fašizmom, najvećim zlom čije su se ideje rodile u Italiji 1919. godine” – ovim povodom rekao je pristuma Ljubenko Borović, ispred organizacije boraca NOR-a 1941-1945 Kotor, podsjećajući na stvaranje Trojnog pakta.

Borović je istakao da je do kraja 1941. godine pokoren veliki broj zemalja, porušen veliki broj gradova, fabrika, a u logore je prognan i uništen veliki broj građana, među kojima je 1.700.000 Jugoslovena.
