Organizacija boraca NOR-a 1941-1945 Kotor položila je cvijeće na spomenik u Parku slobode u Kotoru.

Ispred organizatora povodom Dana pobjede nad fašizmom koji se obilježeva danas, Ljubenko Borović je kazao da se danas obilježava slavni datum sedamdesetdvogodišnjice Pobjede nad fašizmom.

,,Pobjede, koja je bila velika i teška, za koju je čovječanstvo platilo milione žrtava. Pobjede, prema kojoj su išli ljudi, spremni da daju sve od sebe radi slobode i života svoje zemlje, svojih najbližih, radi budućnosti svoje djece.

Obraćam se svima prisutnima, a posebno borcima, kako bi u Evropi rekli, veteranima, riječima naše bezgranične zahvalnosti za sve ono što ste uradili radi naše budućnosti. Zemlje i narodi antihitlerovske koalicije koju su činile Sovjetski Savez, Amerika, Engleska i Jugoslavija na čelu sa Komunističkom partijom i Josipom Brozom Titom obilježavaju 72 godine pobjede nad fašizmom u znaku sjećanja i podsjećanja na sva zla, rušenja i zlodjela koja su se odigrala u Drugom svjetskom ratu od 1939. do 1945, a u kome je, kao odgovor na osvajačka ponašanja Trojnog pakta sa Hitlerovom Njemačkom na čelu, učestvovalo oko pedeset zemalja svijeta” – rekao je, pored ostalog, Borović podsjetivši da se 9. maj od 2003. godine proslavlja i kao Dan Evrope.
